India’s High Commissioner to Ghana, Shri Manish Gupta, has extended his good wishes to Miss Ghana, Miriam Xorlasi Tordzeagbo, as she participates in the prestigious Miss World pageant.
The 71st edition of the Miss World pageant is currently underway in India, with the final event scheduled to take place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, on March 9, 2024.
Before departing for India, Miss Ghana organisers, Exclusive Events Ghana, along with Miriam Xorlasi, had the honour of a courtesy call to the India High Commission in Accra on February 15, 2024.
During the meeting, chaired by Madam Inna Patty, chairwoman of Exclusive Events Ghana, they formally announced Miss Ghana’s participation in the Miss World pageant to Shri Manish Gupta.
Shri Manish Gupta expressed his best wishes to Miss Ghana for a safe journey and a fulfilling experience in India. He welcomed the opportunity to host Miss Ghana and encouraged her to embrace India’s rich culture, sights, and cuisine.
Madam Inna Patty, on behalf of Exclusive Events Ghana, expressed gratitude for the warm reception and reiterated the organisation’s commitment to promoting cultural exchange and fostering strong diplomatic relations between Ghana and India, through initiatives such as Miss Ghana’s participation in the Miss World pageant.
As the Miss World 2023 competition unfolds in India, Exclusive Events Ghana remains dedicated to ensuring that Miss Ghana represents the nation with pride, grace, and dignity on the global stage.
