It’s Good To Preach Prosperity But… – Yul Edochie

Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has advised his followers not to limit everything about their lives to prosperity because, it is not the most important thing in this life.

Yul Edochie, who is described as one of the richest actors in Nigeria, made this known via a tweet on Wednesday.

According to him, the most prospered people in history have always left their prosperity behind when they die.

For him, however, what matters the most in this life is spreading love, peace and unity.

“It’s good to preach prosperity. But we must never forget the most important of all, LOVE. Love each other. Lend a helping hand to one another. Spread love, peace and unity. Some of the most prospered people in history have all left this world, leaving their prosperity behind,” he tweeted.

Described as one of Nigeria’s most influential actors, Yul has appeared in over a hundred movies. Interestingly, it wasn’t his childhood dream to act. At JHS 2, he wanted to drop out of school to venture into sale of electronics. However, his dream was aborted after severe beatings from his father Pete Edochie. He joined Nollywood in 2005 in his first film titled The Exquires. He got his break in 2007 after featuring alongside GenevieveNnaji and Desmond Elliot in the movie Wind Of Glory.

He is currently one of the richest actors in nigeria. He is worth roughly around $2 million. But he says prosperity doesn’t really matter to him.
