Ivor Grabs Man of Courage Award

The 2016 Presidential Candidate of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Ivor Kobina Greenstreet was on Saturday presented with the “Man of Courage” award at the glittering EMY awards night held at the Kempinski Hotel, Accra.

Accepting the award from the ‘Professor’ Azumah Nelson, the lawyer, sniper turned scuba diver said “…courage was the first of all human qualities because it was the one quality that guaranteed all others…”

The ceremony was attended by the former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, Togbe Afede IV, as well as Obuor, Abeiku Santana and others. There were performances from Daddy Lumba, Trigmatic, Nigerian singer Simi and many others.

Lawyer Greenstreet who uses a wheelchair as a result of a car accident some years ago received the award because he had shown great courage and continued to serve his nation at the highest level.

The 2016 Presidential Candidate also thanked his family and friends for their support as well as the Convention People’s Party for elevating him to represent the party in the last general election.
