Ja Rule Breaks Ground For Classroom At Nuaso

American rapper, Ja Rule, has finally taken a philanthropic step in Ghana by initiating the construction of a classroom block at Nuaso Anglican Primary School in the Eastern Region.

In collaboration with renowned US non-profit organisation, Pencils of Promise, known for its efforts in enhancing educational opportunities worldwide, Ja Rule kicked off the project on Wednesday.

Expressing his gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to education, Ja Rule remarked, “I know that this is going to be an opportunity that will last for many, many years to come.”

He assured the public that this initiative marks just the beginning of his philanthropic endeavours in Ghana, emphasising his commitment to the country and its people. “Education is the pillar of any community,” AdomOnline quoted him.

Acknowledging the presence of students from Nuaso Anglican Primary School, Ja Rule highlighted the significance of education in community development.

Days before the groundbreaking ceremony, Ja Rule announced his visit to Ghana to fulfill his commitment to building a school project in the country.

Collaborating with Pencils of Promise, he shared his vision for the project, aiming to make a lasting impact on education in the region.

Upon arriving in Ghana, Ja Rule and his wife, Aisha Atkins, paid homage to Ghana’s first president, Kwame Nkrumah, at the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and Mausoleum in Accra.

They expressed admiration for Nkrumah’s vision and commitment to Ghana’s independence struggle.

Additionally, the couple visited Krobo Odumase, where they engaged with community leaders, further demonstrating their dedication to fostering positive change and development in Ghana.
