Joyce Ampofowaah
One of Ghana’s celebrated gospel artistes, Joyce Ampofowaah is putting finishing touches to her latest album titled ‘Agyenkwa’, an Akan word which means ‘Saviour’.
The album according the gospel artiste would be officially launched at in Accra and Kumasi early next year.
The album is a compilation of soul-touching melody and a couple of danceable tunes.
The release of her latest album is in fulfillment of a cherished dream to take her music career to another level.
Joyce Ampofowaah’s music career started some years back and her performance so far has been amazing.
Reports say Joyce Ampofowaah would go on a radio tour in January to promote the songs on the album before the official launch in Accra.
Joyce Ampofowaah explained that the album, produced by Root Records, is a true reflection of her worshipping heart and desire for godliness.
The talented gospel singer burst onto the music scene in late 2009; and in 2010 won the heart of myriad gospel music fans with her soul inspiring hit song titled “Thank You Baba”.
Joyce Ampfowaah who has performed on a number of gospel music platforms disclosed that since she became a gospel artiste, she always talked about the faithfulness of God and the reason why every soul should give thanks to Him as long as they lived on this earth.
Having sung for several years, Joyce has a voice that appeals to all music lovers, not to talk of her lyrics which are really inspirational and motivational.
According to her, her latest gospel album has what it takes to bring the heavens down and empower one to burst into worship, adding that the album is made up of praise and worship songs and almost all the songs have danceable beats, making the album a rich one.
