Karaga MP To Launch ‘Operation 100 Mechanised Boreholes’

Member of Parliament for Karaga Constituency in the Northern Region and the Minister of State at the Finance Ministry, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, will be launching the ‘Operation 100 Mechanised Boreholes’.

The launch of ‘Operation 100 Mechanised Boreholes’ marks a pivotal moment in Karaga Constituency’s journey towards improved living standards and the constituents eagerly anticipates the positive impact that increased water accessibility will bring, as this project contributes to a more sustainable and prosperous future for the people.

The initiative by the Karaga MP aims to alleviate water scarcity and provide accessible potable water sources for the people in an area.

The initiative follows a report by the Karaga District Health Directorate which indicated the continuous record of stomach-related ailments as being among the top three prevalent diseases in recent times in the constituency.

The Karaga MP has assured the good people of the Karaga constituency that he will turn his attention to water to ensure that access to potable water in the constituency is accessible even though he has drilled over 80 boreholes in two and half years.

The Minister of State in-charge of Finance, during a visit to the constituency over the weekend, said he has successfully fulfilled one of his key targets as a representative of the people by achieving nearly 100 percent electricity coverage in the constituency.

The project cost will be entirely funded by the MP, showcasing his personal dedication to driving change within his community.

The Project is not only an ambitious endeavor but also a reflection of Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam’s hands-on approach to governance and his commitment to the well-being of his constituents.
