Sandra Amarquaye Presenting The Items To Christiana Addo

KARPOWERSHIP GHANA Company Limited has donated to the Osu Children’s Home, an orphanage in the Greater Accra Region.

The donation formed part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Food items such as bags of rice, assorted soft drinks, toiletries, detergents, canned tomato paste, cartons of Milo, sugar, among many others.

Presenting the items on behalf of the company, Sandra Amarquaye, Corporate Communication Specialist of Karpowership Ghana, explained that the donation is part of the company’s commitment to give to society.

According to her, “Christmas is a season of showing love to one another and at Karpowership, this is our little way of showing love and support to the children here.

At Karpowership, we believe in investing in countries we operate in. While we ensure providing uninterrupted and reliable electricity to the national grid, we are also committed to giving back to society by addressing their needs.”

Christiana Addo, manager of the home who received the items on behalf of the home, expressed gratitude to Karpowership for their kind gesture.

She was optimistic that the gesture marks the beginning of a lasting relationship between Karpowership and Osu Children’s Home.

“You have brought us much more than we could imagine. You have actually touched the needs of every child here with your donation from the youngest to the oldest,” she highlighted.

The manageress mentioned that the donation would put a smile on the faces of the children at the facility.

Karpowership has been involved in a lot of charity works like bursary for brilliant but needy students, adopting and fully furnishing an ultra-modern computer laboratory and providing storage water tanks to schools, hospitals, police stations and fisher folks in the Tema Metropolis.
