A high-powered delegation of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stifung – a German foundation which works to enhance political institutions in developing countries – last Monday visited the offices of DAILY GUIDE and the Daily Guide Network (DGN).

In both installations the visitors were taking round by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kwame Blay, who explained to them the operations of the DAILY GUIDE and the new television station which is currently test-transmitting.

The visitors posed various questions about the operations of the DAILY GUIDE and later the new television station.

Freedom, justice and solidarity form the cornerstone of the foundation, which has been in Ghana for a long time partaking in political programmes geared towards enhancing democracy.

As a political foundation, it is associated with the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) of Germany.

The foundation has more than 70 offices abroad and projects in over 120 countries from its programmes, geared towards the promotion of democracy, the rule of law and a social market economy.

They were accompanied to the offices of the DAILY GUIDE by the Ag Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Freddie Blay and Ag General Secretary of the NPP, John Boadu.
