Joselyn Dumas has launched her new television show, Keeping It Real With Joselyn Dumas, to be aired on Joy Prime, a channel on Multi TV.
The event, which was launched last Thursday at the Event Hub located at New Achimota in Accra, attracted a number of female celebrities, radio and television presenters and staff of Multi TV.
Speaking at the launch, Joselyn Dumas explained that the concept is to get people, especially women, to share their life experiences; be it in their marriage, work or general lifestyle to empower others.
She revealed that the show allows men and women to share their opinions on real life issues affecting the modern African in the 21st century.
The show hosts two or three people during which a lot of insightful topics are discussed with the guests being sincere in all their talks.
Joselyn Dumas, who is always happy to give back to her fans, assured them that this is a guaranteed way to get closer to them to be able to give back more.
“I will be making time on the channel to interact with viewers both on TV and on our entire social media pages. Getting closer to you is always special,” she added.
The Channel Manager of Joy Prime, Nana Yaa Serwaa Sarpong, stated that having gained popularity among television viewers in the country, Joy Prime will soon provide viewers with more exciting and educative programmes to satisfy its cherished viewers.
Born on August 31, 1980, Joselyn Dumas in 2014 starred in ‘Northern Affair’, a role that earned her a Ghana Movie Award and an Africa Movie Academy Award nomination for best actress.
She has played key roles in movies and series such as ‘Love or Something Like That’, ‘A Sting In A Tale’, ‘Perfect Picture’, and ‘Lekki Wives’. She has starred alongside some of Africa’s finest actors, including John Dumelo, Majid Michel of Ghana and OC Ukeje of Nigeria.
She co-produced Miss Malaika Ghana, one of the most prestigious beauty pageants from 2008 to 2010.
She made her debut on television as the host of Charterhouse’s Rhythmz, an entertainment show, which saw her interview many celebrities.
Joselyn Dumas was head hunted by one of Ghana’s biggest television networks to host their first own produced flagship talk show, The One Show, which was aired from 2010 to 2014.
