King Paluta
Talented Ghanaian music sensation, King Paluta, has won three accolades at the 2024 Taabea Ghana Music Awards (GMA) UK.
The ‘Makoma’ hitmaker was adjudged New Artiste of the Year and won the Hiplife Song of the Year (Yahitte) and Best Highlife Song of the Year (Aseda).
He beat the likes of OlivetheBoy, Estelle Safowaa, and Oseikrom Sikanii to claim the coveted New Artiste of the Year crown.
King Paluta was crowned New Artiste of the Year for the third time, having previously won the category at the 2024 Ghana Music Awards and the Ghana Music Awards Europe.
Afro-Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, earned the night’s highest prize, Artiste of the Year at the 2024 GMA-UK.
Mr Drew, Epixode, King Ayisoba, Ofori Amponsah, Kofi Nti, and Esther Smith, among others, delivered outstanding performances at the awards event held at London’s Meridian Grand.
Some awards winners include: Sarkodie – Best Rapper of the Year, King Paluta – New Artiste of the Year, King Promise – Most Popular Song of the Year, Mr Drew – Best Collaboration of the Year, Aku Bless – UK-Based Gospel Song of the Year, Perez Muzik – Male Vocalist of the Year, Lordina the Soprano – Female Vocalist of the Year, King Paluta – Hiplife Song of the Year, Geo Wellington – UK-Based Afrobeats/Afropop Song of the Year.
Others are Kuami Eugene – Highlife Artiste of the Year, King Paluta – Best Highlife Song of the Year, Amakye Dede – Lifetime Achievement Award, Davido – Best African Artiste, and Stonebwoy – Artiste of the Year. GNA
