Actress Kisa Gbekle and her team donated items worth hundreds of Ghana cedis to some kids at the children’s unit of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.
They also paid medical bills for more than ten (10) children at the ward.
The gesture on Saturday was part of Kisa’s annual ritual of supporting the underprivileged in society.
Among items donated were boxes of biscuits, cartons of water, soft drinks, and toiletries.
“No one has ever become poor by giving. This is the ninth time I’m doing this for the whole kid’s ward in Korle Bu Teaching Hospital,” she said in an Instagram post on Saturday.
“My team and I donated these items and paid bills for more than 10 people today. We are grateful to God for giving us the opportunity. Each kid at least got more than 10 items,” she added.
Kisa is one of the country’s actresses committed to giving back to society. She has on different occasions been to the same hospital to donate to the children’s ward.
