Kofi Kinaata
Award-winning hiplife/highlife artiste, Kofi Kinaata, has been unveiled as the brand ambassador for Good Day Energy Drink.
The artiste, who won Songwriter of the Year award at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), has been described by some of the stakeholders as one of the talented performing young artistes in the country.
Currently the only artiste to have won the songwriter award category of the VGMA on four occasions, Kofi Kinaata is expected to use his artistic brand and image to market and promote the drink.
He will be involved in increasing brand awareness and sales by promoting the products through various media channels.
He was selected as the brand ambassador for the Good Day Energy Drink because he is authentic, very creative and has passion for his chosen profession.
At the well-attended unveiling ceremony held at Lesfam, Madina in Accra, the artiste expressed appreciation to the company for trusting in his brand.
The ‘Things Fall Apart’ hitmaker, who was excited about the ambassadorial deal, indicated that despite his bad experiences with energy drinks, his perception totally changed when he tried Good Day Energy Drink, adding, “I am going to use my image to help promote this good brand.”
Present at the unveiling were celebrities such as Mzbel, Okyeame Kwame, Bola Ray, and Abeiku Santana, among others.

Born Martin King Arthur, Kofi Kinaata is noted for his Fante rap and freestyle, and therefore known as the Fante Rap God (FRG).
Apart from his rap prowess, he has grown into a very good singer, taking the highlife genre by storm.
Kofi Kinaata is known for songs such as ‘Things Fall Apart’, ‘Confession’, ‘Behind The Scenes’, ‘Sweetie Pie’ and the latest one, ‘Thy Grace’.
In February 2020, he won the Hybrid Song of the Year at the Ghana National Gospel Music Awards 2019.
In May 2021, he was unveiled together with Diana Hamilton as the Brand Ambassadors of Enterprise Life.
Kofi Kinaata has done major collaborations with artistes such as Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Samini, Stonebwoy, Kwesi Arthur, Jayso, Castro, and Becca among others.
One of the collaborations that shot him to the limelight was ‘Odo Pa’ by Castro which featured Kinaata and former Ghana Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan.
The track was a hit all over the continent and won awards locally and internationally.
