Kojo Kwarteng Launches Book On Extraordinary Life

Head of Corporate Affairs of GCB Bank Plc, Kojo Kwarteng has launched his second book titled “Leading An Extraordinary Life- A Guide for Personal Transformation“ after authoring the oil cocoa mines novel in 2013.

The book launch which took place at the British Council, Accra on Wednesday, 19th October 2022 attracted huge patronage.

The seasoned journalist and public relations practitioner shares his years of experience in the 187-paged book with 18 chapters published by Vike Springs Publication, UK.

The book inspires to motivate the youth to be extraordinary and to survive in these trying times of global hardship.

According to Mr. Kwarteng, the book is a guide for personal transformation to help build the youth to face the challenging world. With the rapid increase in the price of commodity as compared to zero salary increase, the author deliberated on how to sustain a life in these trying times of global economic hardship.

“At this time we know we can’t only rely on monthly salary. So what can we do in our free time in other to save for three months or a year without even relying on our salary?

“I have done it and I’m still doing it, working extra hours to make some savings, and all the tips have been shared in my book” he added.

Giving a review on the book, a Ghanaian playwright, author, and motivational speaker Uncle Ebo Whyte said the book contains some insightful articles on Staying Employable in Changing Times, Awakening the Entrepreneur Within, Making Yourself Marketable, and also documenting the personal life experience of the author.

Uncle Ebo Whyte stated that the comprehensive nature of the book also shares light on Self-guide and Improvement, an easy-to-read material that shapes life.

He commended Mr. Kwarteng for his confidence in writing the book to address societal issues in the country.

Launching the book, Renowned International Evangelist and Economist, Dr. Lawrence Tetteh said the publication of the book is timely noting that it pointed out some vital economic situations hindering the progress of the country.

“This book speaks on the current situations we are facing as a country and provides solutions and some tips for the youth can survive in these times. I recommend this book in our libraries so our children can have access to it” he said.

In attendance at the brief event was the MP and Minister of State, Freda Prempeh, Ambassador Kabral Blay Amihere, GJA General Secretary and President, Edmond Kofi Yeboah and Albert Dwumfuor, a team from Ghana-Uk Chamber of Commerce, led by Md. Adjoba Kyiamah and CEO of Sports Village, Talal Fatal.
