Kokompe Traders ‘Hoot’ At Mahama [VIDEO]

Hundreds of traders and residents on Tuesday shocked President John Dramani Mahama at Kokompe, a suburb in Accra by waving the change sign after the president stormed the premises to campaign.

President Mahama is currently on a campaign tour of the Greater Accra region ahead of the December general elections.

But the President was given an unexpected welcome at Kokompe where a large number of artisans and spare part dealers operate after he was met on arrival with some of them hooting at him and screaming “change, change, change.”

The bewildered President had no choice than to wave at the charged ‘NPP’ crowd from his SUV vehicle as the traders continuously rolled their hands to signal change which has been a major slogan of the opposition New Patriotic Party.

The video which has been circulating on social media has generated heated discussions with some suggesting that Kokompe is an NPP stronghold and the reaction was expected while others suggest the reaction of the artisans is an indication that Mr. Mahama will lose the December polls.
