Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia
The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has hinted of plans by President Akufo-Addo to invite the konkomba and Chokosis chiefs to the jubilee house in Accra.
According to the Vice President , the purpose for the invitation of both chiefs is to find a lasting solution to the conflict in Chereponi.
Dr. Bawumia said it was time to cement lasting peace between the two feuding tribes.
He indicated that government was committed to maintaining peace in Chereponi and Saboba.
The Vice President said government would increase police and military personnel in Chereponi and saboba as well as provide adequate logistics for the security.
