ZESCO UNITED will see ‘red’ when they face Kotoko in Kumasi this Wednesday.
Home team, Asante Kotoko, has virtually painted the Baba Yara stadium with red.
The Porcupine Warriors have decorated the venue with their numerous red flags.
Virtually, every available space at the stadium is decorated with Kotoko’s red flag.
Aside the flags, huge Kotoko banners can also be seen on the walls of the stadium.
A Kotoko source said Kotoko wants to beat Zesco United in Kumasi at all cost.
He said Kotoko believes that hoisting of the Kotoko flags can help do the trick.
Kotoko, Zesco United, Nkana and Al-Hilal are pitted in the same group.
Two teams will qualify to the next stage of the Africa Confederation Cup.
Kotoko lost 0-1 to Al-Hilal in their first game in Sudan.
On that same day, Zesco United whipped Nkana 2-0 in a Zambian derby.
Kotoko therefore need to beat Zesco United at home to remain in contention.
Meanwhile, the match, originally scheduled to kick-off at 1pm has been rescheduled to 4pm this Wednesday by CAF.
Edmund Ackah, Kotoko’s Representative in Accra, said so on Hello FM in Kumasi.
He said the change of kick-off time has also changed Kotoko’s strategy saying,”Coach Akonnor has changed his tactics after CAF changed the kick-off time,”
