Charles Akunnor
Asante Kotoko will sign Charles Akunnor as their new coach today, FootballmadeinGhana.com can confirm.
Both parties have agreed on the final drafts of a proposed contract and are ready to put pen to paper.
Kotoko have been in talks with the former AshantiGold and Dreams FC coach since the resignation of Paa Kwesi Fabin earlier this month.
Sources have now revealed that talks have concluded successfully with Akunnor expected in Kumasi today for a signing ceremony
“Everything is set for Akunnor to come to Kumasi to sign his contract,” the source told FootballmadeinGhana.com.
Akunnor, a former captain of the Black Stars has been out of work since his dismissal from AshantiGold for reported insubordination.
His contract with Kotoko will be for a reported two-year period.
