This year’s edition of a reggae music festival dubbed “Kuchoko Roots Festival” will take place at the Alliance Francaise in Accra on Saturday, June 24, 2023.
This year’s edition of the event will feature selected reggae music icons who will join a number of Ghanaian musicians including Blakk Rasta to thrill music fans.
There will also be surprise guest artistes who will perform on the night.
Artistes billed for the event include Taj Weekes from St. Lucia, Qshan Deya from St. Vincent, Ras Simposh and ZMo from Burkina Faso, Ras Kuuku, Ras Boumba, Konkarah Jah Vibes and Blak Mexxiah.
Others are Ras Preachaman, Mighty Orthodox Band and The Vibration Kings Band. Special Kuchoko guest for 2023 is Samuel Owusu, a highlife legend.
MCs for the event are King Lagazee and Ras Kwame Malcolm.
The organisers have assured music fans that this year’s festival, which has a lot of packages for music fans, will be different from the previous ones.
