Lands Ministry Gets Face Masks

The Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources has received 2,500 Disposable Protective Mask from a Chinese mining firm, Soon Mining Company Limited.
The Managing Director of the Company, Oscard Huang said he was poised to support the Ministry to fight the COVID-19 pandemic at all levels due to the important role of the Ministry in the national agenda.
He said the company will continue to do more to support the global fight against the menace.
Meanwhile, Anglogold Ashanti Ghana has also presented 95 pieces of sanitizers to the Ministry to help complement existing efforts in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Minister, Kwaku Asoma Cheremeh who received the items on behalf of the Ministry, thanked Soon Mining and Anglogold Ashanti for the gesture and added that other mining companies should emulate these companies to help fight the canker.
He further stated that “We will distribute to our staff and visitors to the Ministry who have no mask”
