Private legal practitioner and Managing Partner at Trent Legal Amansie Chambers, Ralp Poku-Adusei, has renovated the the dilapidated office building of the Ambulance Service Directorate in the Bekwai Municipality in the Ashanti Region.

The gesture by the lawyer who is an indigene of the area followed a request by the Municipal Director of the National Ambulance Service in Bekwai, Philip Adodoadjie, on the lawyer to help renovate the office building which needed a face lift.

Mr. Adodoadjie’s requests came at the back of several acts of benevolence the lawyer had previously extended to various groups in the Municipality is previous times.

Mr Poku-Adusei in October 2022, had offered GH₵50,000 to officials of the Kokofu Traditional Area to support two construction projects in the local district.

It was against this backdrop that the Bekwai Municipal Director of the National Ambulance Service wrote to the British-trained lawyer to assist in renovating their office building.

“We would be grateful if the following renovations are done at the said facility; Partitioning of office, Construction of male and female toilet and bath, Construction of Ambulance parking bay, among others” the letter requesting for the renovation indicated.

Mr. Poku-Adusei In an interview with journalists on why he accepted the invitation to support the ambulance service in Bekwai Municipality indicated “looking at the importance of ambulance services to the people of Bekwai, I deemed the bid made by the Municipal Director of the National Ambulance Service in Bekwai, an extremely important request”.

“I consider it a privilege to have been called upon by officials of the Bekwai Ambulance service to give a phase lift to their office space” Mr. Poku-Adusei said.

“I look forward to assisting them in other capacities so they can continue to offer their services to the good people of the place of my birth” he added.
