LilWin
Media personality and law enthusiast, Afia Pokua, popularly known as Vim Lady, has advised actor Kwadwo Nkansah, aka LilWin, to retain multiple lawyers to guide his conduct amid frequent legal disputes.
Her comments follow a defamation suit filed by actor, Van Vicker, who is seeking GH¢10 million in exemplary damages, alongside general damages and legal costs.
In a TikTok video, Vim Lady clarified that the GH¢10 million being discussed publicly was only part of Van Vicker’s claims.
She said the actor’s case centred on alleged remarks by LilWin that portrayed him as untrustworthy, greedy and unwilling to honour professional commitments.
Vimlady explained that Van Vicker’s reputation was central to his career and that the alleged comments could affect his standing in the film industry.
“At this rate LilWin has to have more than one lawyer on retainer… Pay them at the end of every month so they can advise you on your every move. The industry is too small to always have issues with someone,” she said.
She also referenced LilWin’s previous legal dispute with actress Martha Ankomah, suggesting that dialogue could have helped resolve the disagreement.
Vim Lady further urged industry players to address concerns about professionalism through constructive engagement rather than public accusations.
She noted that Van Vicker’s long career in entertainment and legal training meant he understood the implications of the case.
Van Vicker’s suit has drawn public attention, particularly over the GH¢10 million exemplary damages being sought.
