Ofori Agyeman Boadi
A KNOWN former President John Mahama’s boy in Kumasi, in the Ashanti Region, Ofori Agyeman Boadi, nicknamed ‘Zuba’, has caused a stir.
According to him, he is seeking the blessing of former President John Agyekum Kufuor of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to go far in his political career.
Zuba, who was appointed as the Obuasi Municipal Chief Executive by ex-President Mahama, stated emphatically that ex-President Kufuor is his political idol.
“I’m now waiting for former President John Kufuor to place his hands on me to bless me in order for me to go far in my political career,” he said on Akoma FM.
According to him, former President Kufuor had on some occasions, blessed him (Zuba) to succeed in politics, adding that it would surely come to pass.
“Mr. Kufuor, my political mentor, has blessed me before, but I’m waiting for the day that he (Kufuor) will place his hands on me to bless me to succeed in politics.
“I know that special day will surely come when my political mentor, John Kufuor, will let me kneel down, place his hands on my head and bless me,” he said.
Zuba said he knows that Mr. Kufuor is highly blessed and favoured, so if he (Kufuor) place his hand on his head and bless him, he would surely go far in politics.
According to the ex-Obuasi MCE, Mr. Kufuor “has been monitoring my political progress even though I’m NDC man.
“This man has been blessed by almighty God, and if he blesses you, definitely you will be blessed,” stressing that he highly respect and adores Mr. Kufuor.
