The tragedy unfolded around 4:30 p.m. at a chop bar situated behind a washing bay in the area. Eyewitnesses reported that the man collapsed without warning while socialising at the drinking spot, leaving those present in disbelief. Despite efforts to assist him, the deceased was later confirmed dead, though the exact cause of his death remains unknown.
As authorities begin their investigation into the incident, police are working to determine the cause of death. The deceased’s body has been transported to the morgue for further examination, which is expected to shed light on the circumstances surrounding his untimely passing.
The sudden death has sent waves of sadness through the Denkyemuoso community, particularly as it occurred during the Easter period—a time traditionally associated with joy, reflection, and family.
