A report from the Ghana Police Service has confirmed the shooting of 25-year-old Stanley Ahadzi on August 18, 2024 at the frontage of Koans Estate in Kuntunse Satellite, near Adjen Kotoku in Accra.
The incident occurred when Constable Smith Gyekyi (G/No. 57953) from the International Relations Directorate (IRD) of the Ghana Police Service got involved in a dispute over transport fare charges.
According to a statement from the Amasaman Police Division, the police control room received information regarding a shooting incident involving a male adult at the Koans Estate in Satellite where DSP Adamu Muniru, the Adjen Kotoku Crime Officer, along with ASP Agnes Aboagye, the night monitoring officer, arrived at the scene with investigator D/PW Insp.
