Old Trafford pitch
Manchester United are selling pieces of the Old Trafford pitch for £125 each, with the first batch already sold out.
The initiative was launched on the same day the club reported that its overall debt remains above £1bn.
United recorded a record revenue of £677.6m and an operating profit of £22.6m for the 2025-26 financial year, although they posted a pre-tax loss of £43m.
The 13-time Premier League champions also confirmed that £63.5m had been spent acquiring land for their proposed new stadium, which is expected to cost more than £2bn.
For the first time in 14 years, the Old Trafford pitch was dug up this summer and stripped back to its foundations.
Sections of the turf were preserved and cut into 7x7cm pieces before being placed inside glass cubes and presented in black cases.
The club says the cubes provide a “priceless memento” of iconic games played at Old Trafford and allow supporters to keep memories of matchdays alive.
