The Ghana Prisons Service (GPS) has launched a manhunt for 29-year-old Peter Kyeremeh, who had escaped from prison.
The convict was sentenced to five years’ imprisonment in hard labour for unlawful entry and stealing.
It remains unclear how he managed to escape from prison and which of the prison facilities across the country he escaped from.
But information provided by the Ghana Prisons Service on its social media accounts describes the escapee convict as fair in complexion and ‘slim’ in stature.
The Service is calling on anyone with information on the whereabouts of Peter Kyereme to report same to the nearest police station.
“If seen or captured kindly contact the nearest police station, any prison establishment or call 0506232978,” the GPS poster added.
