Max TV Launches EPL Coverage

Max TV announced its exclusivity to air the 2019/2020 English Premier League (EPL) season at a media briefing in Accra on Tuesday.

Refreshingly, the package offers a fan a rare lifetime opportunity to fly out to England to watch one of the games live after predicting right questions from the show host. 

Announcing the package, Philip Sitso, head of sports of Max TV, said his outfit’s objective is to give Ghanaian football fans the best content, adding that “…and as a free to air channel the best content from the Premier League is what we offer.

“Max TV will show a live game on Saturday Match days (2:00pm) of the Premier League season. Max TV also has the exclusive rights to the Premier League Preview show, the Premier League Review show and the Premier League World,” he indicated.

The Premier League Preview is an exclusive show (8:00pm and repeated at 7pm on Saturdays) that provides an insightful build up to all the weekend action in the Premier League.

 The premier League World (Wednesday at 7:00 pm and repeated at 7:00 pm on Thursday and Sundays at 12:30pm) is a magazine show that focuses on behind-the-scenes of Premier League clubs, exclusive interviews with Premier League players, managers and ex-players.

The Premier League Review is a one-hour highlight show that captures the most important actions of all the 10 Premier League games on match days on Mondays at 8:00pm, Tuesdays at 7:00pm, Wednesdays at 8:00pm and Thursdays at 9:00pm.

On Match days, Max TV would treat its audience with a top-class studio discussion an hour before kick-off.

The studio discussion starts at 1:00pm with some of the best pundits and football analysts in the country.

Key among its guests are Head Coach of the Black Stars B, Maxwell Konadu, Former Fulham and Black Star player Derek Boateng, Joe Addo, CK Akonnor, Laryea Kingston, among others.
