A candidate who was contesting for the seat to become Chief Executive for Birim Central Municipal Assembly in the Eastern Region, Kwame Baa Mensa has congratulated Madam Victoria Adu on her nomination.

Mrs Victoria Adu, was appointed last year to replace the Former MCE who resigned due to his health conditions.

Mr. Baa Mensa in a statement said “Thrice attempted Thrice failed, Nevertheless, I congratulate the  President’s Nominee, my main Contender for the Birim Central Municipal, Akyem Oda’s Chief Executive position Madam  Victoria Adu on her  re-nomination.”

He said, “I urge all supporters, party faithful and the good people of Akim Oda Municipality to wholly support the decision of the president to deliver on the mandate given the New Patriotic Party and to the best expectation of Ghanaians.”

“I shall do everything possible within my bosom to continue to serve and support the party as a formidable force to offer the best of public service to Ghanaians in General.”

At Mpreaso, the Kwahu South Municipal Assembly nominee, Emmanuel Atta Ofori Snr also expressed gratitude to the president for renominating him to serve the people.

In a statement, the nominee said “I wish to thank the President for the confidence reposed in me and for nominating me to serve as the MCE, the second time.”

“It is gratifying to serve the good people of Kwahu South, and I thank the chiefs, elders, religious leaders, and indigenes for standing by me during the selection process”.

“I wish to show appreciation to all who also presented themselves to serve the municipality. I can assure you that the Assembly will always be open to your ideas. So, come, let’s work together to secure a stronger, prouder and better municipality”.
