Meprolim Lifts World Corporate Golf

Meprolim Ghana Limited has won the 2018 World Corporate Golf Challenge Ghana Final held at the Achimota Golf Club.

The tournament organized by the International Chamber of Commerce saw over 80 golfers participating from over 40 companies from various industrial sectors.

The winners from the ICC organized World Corporate Golf Tournament, held on May 12, in Accra will fly to Portugal for the finals of the world tournament.

Emmanuel Doni-Kwame of the International Chamber of Commerce-Ghana, organizers of the tournament, explained; “this year’s tournament is being staged across 6 continents, 30 territories which include Ghana.”

“Our prestige winners will have the opportunity to represent their companies and Ghana at the 2018 World Final in Cascais, Portugal.”

The team from Meprolim Ghana Limited, Joher Madji and Barry Dzadey, won with 41 points and 39 points. The winners will represent Ghana at the 2018 World final in Cascais, Portugal from June 20 to 25.

Other winners of the tournament were Charles Ofori, who came third with 38 points, Yaw Afriyie of the Nxt Gen Golf Group, who hit the longest distance over 285 yards’ while the nearest to the Pin winner was Vastie Amoafo-Yeboah with7.11m.
