Princess Shyngle and Michael Essien
Gambian-born Ghanaian socialite and actress, Princess Shyngle, has stoked fire in Michael Essien’s home with wide allegations that the former Black Stars midfielder cheated on his wife with her.
According to Shyngle, she dated the former Chelsea star for a year and the interesting part was that they dated when he is still married.
Shyngle, who is famous for her tiny waist, made the disclosure in an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on The Delay Show when she was revealing the names of some Ghanaian celebrities she has dated before.
She mentioned Michael Essien and D Black as some of the stars she once dated.
“I dated him. I had no idea he was married. I had no reason to ask him because I never saw a wedding ring on his finger and there were obviously no pictures of him and any woman on a social media so I assumed that he was a single man,” she stated.
When asked if she is still in a relationship with Essien, she answered in the negative.
“Technically, no! What happened was I got to know that he was married and that was a deal breaker for me. Obviously, we were out in public which was a dumb move and I got contacted by some people that he was married and then I decided to Google and I found out that he was really married,” she added.
With rapper D Black, she said she dated him for two years but broke up with him because he was not always faithful.
Shyngle recently claimed on Instagram that 99.9 per cent of her former partners could not satisfy her sexually, but she declined to respond to a question about who fell within that percentage.
Michael Essien, who once dated celebrated actress Nadia Buari, is married to his manager Akosua Puni. He is yet to respond to Shyngle’s claims, as there are speculations that they could be problems at home over the startling revelation by the actress.
