Miss Ghana Organisation Denies Latest Exploitation Claims

Issabella Agbo, Inna Patty, CEO of Exclusive Events Ghana

Exclusive Events Ghana Limited, organisers of Miss Ghana pageant, has denied allegations that Issabella Agbo, Miss Ghana 2020 first runner up has resigned due to exploitation.

According to the organisation, Issabella said her decision to resign was personal.

A copy of Issabella’s  unsigned resignation letter to the Miss Ghana organisation on January 25, 2021 available to NEWS-ONE, quoted her as saying, “My decision to resign from the position of Miss Ghana 2020 1st runner up due to personal reasons which are beyond my control and must be attended to immediately.”

However, a publication on GhanaCelebrities.com on Saturday alleged that Isabella Agbo resigned over her claims of exploitation, fraudulent misrepresentation, among others.

But Exclusive Events Ghana in a response indicated that it suspected the website was pushing an agenda to support their claims in court over a Miss Ghana organisation suit against it.

“The publication in GhanaCelebrities.com is an attempt to assist Chris Vincent and his GhanaCelebrities.com website in the ongoing defamation suit against him and others in the High Court for defaming our reputed organisation in the past using the same baseless charges.

“We want to state on clear terms that those allegations are blatant lies and totally false.  Irrespective of strains on management especially due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Miss Ghana organisation has not faulted in its obligations to the Queens.

“Accordingly, we wish to emphatically state that all allegations leveled against Exclusive Events Ghana Limited are false and are highly refuted in its entirety,” the organisation said in a statement on Monday.
