Miss World 2018 Vanessa Ponce de Leon is expected to arrive in Ghana today ahead of this year’s Miss Ghana finale on Saturday.
The world reigning queen will also be accompanied by the Chairwoman of Miss World Organisation & Founder of the Beauty With A Purpose Charity, Julia Morley, and 10 other world beauties.
The visit forms part of efforts to support the Miss Ghana brand and Miss Ghana Foundation on its social intervention projects with regard to the education project at Don Bosco Technical & Vocational Training Institute in Ashaiman, provision of water project in Nabuli in the Gushegu District of the Northern Region and health-help cover cost of surgery for children suffering from scoliosis at the FOCOS Hospital.
There will also be a charity ball in aid of these projects and more to honouring the chairwoman, as well as the crowning of Miss Ghana 2019 on Saturday, July 6 at Kempinski Gold Cost Accra City Hotel at 6:00pm prompt.
