Money Throwing NDC Aspirant To Be Arrested

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary aspirant for Ejura Sekyedumase in the Ashanti region, Juliana Kinang-Wassan, has been summoned by the Special Prosecutor regarding her alleged cash-spraying on delegates during the recent party primaries, according to report.

She has been instructed to appear before the SP’s office on Thursday for questioning on accusations of corruption during the elections.

“The OSP considers you as a person necessary for investigation. You are directed to attend the Office of the Special Prosecutor at 6 Haile Selassie Avenue, South Ridge, Accra on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 10am for interviewing,” an excerpt of the invitation letter from the SP to Juliana shared said.

Additionally, the Police Service is conducting a thorough investigation of the viral video that shows Juliana Kinang-Wassan spraying money on a crowd during the Ejura Sekyedumase elections in the Ashanti Region.

The Police aim is to determine if her conduct constitutes an election-related crime.

The Police reassure the public that they are committed to enforcing peace, security, law, and order at all times.
