The apex court has ordered the host of a current affairs programme on Montie FM as well as two guests on the show to appear before it next week, following threats on the life of Judges by the panelists.
A formal summons by the Supreme Court says Salifu Maase, the host, Godwin Gunn and Alistair Nelson must appear before it on Tuesday, July 12, 2016.
The Court wants them to appear before it by morning of the stated date to show cause why they should not be imprisoned for contempt for “scandalizing the court, defying and lowering the authority of the court and bringing the authority of the court into disrepute.”
