Gabi Nova
Gabriel Mawuli Kwame Attepor, a contestant at the MTN Hitmaker season 9 with the stage name Gabi Nova, on Sunday wowed members of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Nativity Congregation, La, with a beautiful song rendition.
Gabi Nova ‒ who has been a member of Praise Dynamics, a praise and worship team of the church for years ‒ was introduced to the congregants by the resident pastor, Rev. Daniel Lankai Lawson, as a contestant of the competition.
“He is ours; aside from his talent, he needs God’s favour and your votes to win the competition. Pray for him and vote for him to bring home the ultimate,” Rev. Lawson added.
In his sermon, Rev. Emmanuel Ashietey advised Gabi Nova to use his God given talent in fulfilment of God’s word.
Gabi Nova gave a splendid rendition of ‘You Covered Me’, a song originally composed by Dr. R.A. Vernon & The Word Church Praise, when he was given the chance to show the church what he has been doing so far at the competition.
Gabi Nova is in the 2020 edition of the MTN Hitmaker season 9 with 11 others battling out for the GH¢120,000 ultimate cash prize and a recording deal.
