Ghanaian singer, Efya, has shared her profound connection to music, describing it as her life’s mission and driving force.
In a TV3 interview on December 10, 2025, she revealed that music helped discover her purpose at a young age, and she’s remained committed to her artistic vision.
“Music is life to me. It’s the moment I truly recognised my original purpose,” Efya said. She believes her voice is a gift meant to uplift and touch listeners, and her experiences in the industry have enabled her to create music that resonates globally.
Efya reflected on her personal growth, stating, “I’ve managed to redefine myself, shift between different phases, and evolve over the years, but it takes a great deal of hard work.” She’s grateful to have discovered her purpose early, building a powerful influence not only for herself but also for other female artistes.
