Mzbel Praises Nana Addo’s Free SHS

It appears singer Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, popularly known as Mzbel in entertainment circles, is gradually becoming a fan of President Akufo-Addo, a man she has never shown any ‘kindness’ to over the years.

But what is surprising is the fact behind her move – the free senior high school (SHS) initiative – something that the National Democratic Congress (NDC), a party which she supports so dearly, does not see as a worthy cause.

Mzbel, who now appears to be ‘sharing her love’ between ex-President Mahama and President Akufo-Addo, took to Facebook on Monday, September 11 to openly shower praises on the latter for the free SHS initiative.

“Free Education here we come!!! It’s actually true oo! Hahaaa Nana well done oo!! Onto the next deal…,” Mzbel, once fondly referred to as Mahama’s daughter, posted on her official Facebook page, with the said post instantly going viral.

Surprises

Many are those who are surprised about Mzbel’s open showering of praises on President Akufo-Addo as it is untypical of her, considering her constant attacks on him during his days as an opposition leader.

Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports suggest that Mzbel is a potential beneficiary of the free SHS programme.

All efforts to reach her to confirm whether or not her son is benefiting from the ‘cost-saving’ initiative proved futile, as calls placed to her phone were not answered.
