Naira Marley and Iyabo Ojo
Marlian Music boss, Naira Marley, has threatened to sue Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo for disseminating false and defamatory content against him.
In a letter addressed to Iyabo Ojo, through his attorney, Olalekan Ojo (SAN) & Co., Naira Marley accused the actress of using her Instagram account to promote malicious and inaccurate content about him.
The letter outlined accusations the actress made in a September 2023 post on her Instagram page, stating that the actress accused Naira Marley of engaging in spiritual and physical dealings with the late singer Mohbad.
The letter added that the actress accused Naira Marley of causing mental harm to the late singer.
Naira Marley therefore seeks a redress of N500 million from Iyabo Ojo and a public apology to be posted on her page and published in a national daily.
According to the letter, failure to adhere to the condition placed would force them to file a lawsuit against her.
