Abrantie Amakye Dede
HIGHLIFE music maestro Abrantie Amakye Dede will on Friday, December 29 perform liveat a musical concert dubbed ‘Legacy Nite’ at the Miklin Hotel in Kumasi in the Ashanti region.
The show which is anticipated to be historic because it will feature some selected music icons who will join Abrantie to thrill fans.
The show, which kicks off at 8pm, is expected to transcend age barriers by drawing in fans of all ages since Amakye Dede and Nana Acheampong have been in the industry for over two decades, with a number of albums to their credit.
They have a reputation for being able to keep audiences on their feet for hours on end, hence when they hit the stage on December 29, music fans in attendance will be expecting nothing less.
Other artistes billed rock the stage alongside Abrantie Amakye Dede and Nana Acheampong include Fameye, Amaerado and surprise guest artistes.
Abrantie who is the headline act is expected to delight fans with his highlife danceable songs which will turn the venue into a dance hall. He would perform all his hit-songs.
Known for his unique delivery and his stylish Twi, Amakye Dede always makes an impression with his stage craft, singing and dancing skills.
He will perform some of his hit songs which include ‘Handkerchief’, ‘Brebrebe Yi’, ‘Mensuro, Mabre’, ‘Sokoo Na Mmaa Pe’, ‘Kose Kose’, ‘Dabi Dabi’, ‘Mefre Wo’, ‘Okyena Sesei’, ‘Odo Nfonii’, ‘Nka Akyi’, ‘M’ani Agyina’, among other.
