Ghanaian celebrity blogger Nana Baffour, popularly called Nanabaffourdotcom, has grabbed two nominations for the maiden edition of ‘Above and Beyond’ Awards (ABR) 2021.
Nana Baffour’s nominations include Celebrity Blogger of the Year and Overall Blogger of the Year.
The blogger took to his Instagram page to solicit votes and support from fans, saying, “We grabbed nominations for the awards, let keep voting to take these awards, hard work pays.”
The awards nominated personalities including Habiba Sinare, Ruth Adjei, Minister Ike Gleeman, Jal Klodin, Kekeli, Bigjoe Grafi, Mark Smith, Rockson, Pappy Kobi, and many others.
Being organised by Power House Entertainment, the awards has 78 categories, which include Media House of the Year, Best Actor and Actress of the Year, Blogger of the Year, Comedian of the Year, Favourite Film of the Year, Sports Personality of the Year, TV and Radio Personality of the Year among others.
Chief Executive Officer of Power House Entertainment, Raymond Kombat, in an interview with BEATWAVES, said the maiden edition of ABR Awards would honour individuals and other notable personalities from both the entertainment and entrepreneur sectors in the country.
According to him, Ghana’s entertainment industry amidst the COVID-19 pandemic has contributed immensely to the creative art sector and it is appropriate to honour their hard work.
Mr. Kombat said the date and venue for the awards would be communicated.
