Kojo Oppong Nkrumah
President Nana Akufo-Addo is expected to take his turn at the Information Ministry’s Nation Buildings Update (NBU).
Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, made this known in his welcome address at the eighth edition of the NBU.
The 8th edition is taking place this morning at the Academy of Arts and Sciences, Accra, under the theme: “Keeping the lights on, Powering our growth.”
Energy Minister, John Peter Amewu, is the presenter for the 8th edition.
In his welcome remarks, Mr Nkrumah recounted that the NBU took off with a townhall meeting with the Vice President, Dr Bawumia, speaking on infrastructure works that the Akufo-Addo’s administration has undertaken.
In the coming weeks, we will have ministers from the new regions to join us, he said.
He noted that the Vice President will once again returned to the NBU after which the President will take his turn.
The NBU, he said, is in line with the Constitutional requirement of accountability.
