PRESIDENT AKUFO-Addo

PRESIDENT AKUFO-Addo is billed to pay a two-day working visit to the Central Region, beginning from Saturday, September 15, 2018.

According to a news release, during the visit, the President will inspect and commission some developmental projects, especially those under his flagship initiative – One District, One Factory (1D1F).

DAILY GUIDE understands that the President will inspect the potato chips and bread factory and 300-acre potato farm under 1D1F at Gomoa West District.

He is also expected to commission 20mw solar farm project at Gomoa Onyaadze in the Gomoa West District.

At about 3:30pm on Saturday, the President will attend a durbar of chiefs and people of Gomoa Akyempim and Ajumako Traditional Areas at Apam in the Gomoa West District.

On Sunday, September 16, which is the final day of the tour, President Akufo-Addo will attend a church service at the Methodist Church at Swedru in the Agona West Municipality.

He will wrap up his visit with another durbar of the chiefs and people of Agonaman at Swedru in the Agona West Municipality at about 2:30pm.

The President has been embarking on extensive nationwide tours since assuming office to interact with Ghanaians from all walks of life to listen to their concerns and also commission major developmental projects.
