The New Patriotic Party (NPP) running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, is a proud recipient of three different prestigious awards in the United States (US).
Three influential NPP groups in the US, including the NPP-USA branch, NPP-USA Youth Wing and USA Napo Inspires, each presented different touching citations to him.
Dr. Prempeh, aka ‘Napo’, who was at the University of Memphis to deliver a keynote address, personally received the citations from the three NPP groups.
Significantly, the three citations highlighted Napo’s extraordinary performance in government when he served as the Minister of Education and Energy, respectively.
The citations also lauded Napo for his key contributions to the effective transformation of the NPP from the opposition days till date, and urged him to sustain his good works.
NPP US Branch Chairperson, Obaa Yaa Amponsah Frimpong, in an interview with the DAILY GUIDE, described Napo as a visionary and results-oriented leader.
She said the citations from the three different NPP groups, clearly attests to the fact that Napo has duly paid his dues for the party and, therefore, he deserves to be honoured.
NPP-USA Branch Youth Organiser, Danny Opoku Antwi, also said his group is impressed by Napo’s kind heart and passion to assist the party and its members to grow.
“As young patriots, we are motivated by your tireless efforts to create opportunities for all,” he said, and added that Napo serves as an inspiration for the NPP youth.
Napo, who was beaming with smiles, thanked the three groups for their recognition, and urged every NPP member to work to ensure the party wins the December 7 polls.
