The Member of Parliament (MP) for Manhyia South, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, aka Napo, has started a free pre-senior high school (SHS) vacation classes in his constituency.

The laudable exercise is intended to properly prepare and expose hundreds of beneficiaries of the free exercise to what awaits them when they finally get enrolled in SHSs.

The MP, who is also the Minister of Education, is being supported by Francis Adomako, Ashanti Regional NPP Organiser, who is also a university lecturer, to organise the classes.

Also offering key support for the educative programme is Prof. Jonathan Adams, Proprietor of Elite College. The free vacation classes would take place at the St. Louis College of Education.

As part of the exercise, Mr. Adomako and Prof. Jonathan Adams have jointly presented core mathematics textbooks to the students to improve their learning.

Mr. Adomako lauded Napo for his passion for education, citing the free pre-SHS vacation classes as proof that when students are better prepared, it makes teaching and learning less difficult.

According to him, the free vacation classes would support the beneficiaries to climb high on the academic ladder and urged the students to take the exercise very seriously.
