Nathaniel Attoh Shares Stage With Robot As Co Host

Award winning emcee and broadcaster Nathaniel Attoh left a creme audience in awe at the weekend as he introduced ‘Cello’ a robot as his co-compare at the launch of next year’s Millennium Excellence Awards.

The two blended so well in their deliveries at the launch held at the Labadi Beach Hotel for the 25th anniversary editon of the prestigious scheme.

“We are in an AI era, so this was a twist added to make the launch unique,” he said.

Cello, the AI co-emcee, introduced three items on the programme to the admiration of the guests.
Seasoned education is Anis Hafar, who was introduced by ‘Cello’ acknowledged it was his first time being introduced by a robot.

“The Millennium Excellence Awards, organized every five years, and bring the gallabt platform that it is always gives its guests something new to look forward to. It was a fine blend, and I had a good time on the stage” Mr Attoh said moments after the event.

Nathaniel Attoh’s exploits as one of Ghana’s topmost emcees have always been characterized by periodic innovations that add spice to his craft. Two years ago at the launch of DSTV’s Coverage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar Citizen Attoh, as he is known in showbiz circles emerged on ropes from the top of Ghana’s Independence Monument (Black Star Square) which is almost 50 meters high. He delivered his intro smoothly as he dropped with a calculated pace from the top of the ironic monument to the excitement of guests of the African pay-tv giants.

The millenium Excellence Awards will be held on May 9 and 10, 2025, at the iconic Otumfuo Osei Tutu Jubilee Hall.
It is under the patronage of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, King of the Ashanti Kingdom.

The scheme celebrates men and women who have demonstrated brilliance and made big societal impact their respective fields of endeavor.

Past recipients include Ghana’s first president Kwame Nkrumah (posthumous), former presidents- John Kuffour, John Mahama, Kofi Annan, Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu, Togbe Afede XIV, Barimah Professor Azumah Nelson, Ambassador James Victor Gbeho, Osei Kwame Despite, among others.

The silver edition of the Millennium Excellence Awards is expected to celebrate and honor high profile personalities like Aliko Dangote, former US President Barack Obama, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.
