A prominent sub-chief of Zogilgu community near Sakogu in the East Mamprusi Municipality , Chief Tinguri Dana Azum Wuni with 40 other residents have joined the New Patriotic Party(NPP) in the Nalerigu-Gambaga constituency.
At a mini rally in Nalerigu , Chief Tinguri Dana Azum Wuni said ever since he joined the NDC, his community has not witness any development until the NPP took over to change the lives of his community members.
“ We were in NDC then NPP won and Hajia Alima gave us development , light and other projects and now we are happy with the change.”
He indicated that the Nalerigu-Gambaga constituency has been massively transformed by the current Member of Parliament , Hajia Alima.
“ if you pass through Gambaga to Nalerigu and Sakogu you will testify the massive developmental projects in the constituency.”
He called on electorates in the constituency to vote massively for the NPP and Hajia Alima to continue to transform the constituency and create more jobs for the youth.
The North East Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) Nurudeen Fuseini , who received the defectors into the party assured them that they would no regret making such a decision.
He said the NPP is poised to win the six seats in the constituency and urged party executives and supporters to ensure that they intensify the door to door campaign in the various constituencies.
