The Former Member of Parliament for Upper West Akim Constituency, Derrick Ohene Assiffo Bekoe, has been involved in an accident with two Nissan 4×4 cars.
The two cars with registration numbers GT-2624-E and GR-6545-P respectively collided head-on with his Toyota Fortuna with registration number GR-8334-18.
According to an eyewitness report, the accident occurred at Sukrong Bethlehem adjacent Asamanka-Nsawam highway in the Eastern region.
The two Nissan cars were heading towards Nsawam while Mr. Derrick was also heading to
Asamankese where the accident occurred.
According to reports, no death was recorded.
The MP together with his three followers are receiving treatment at the Asamankese Government Hospital after sustaining various degrees of injuries.
