Nana Akua Addo and Quitachie
RENOWNED FASHION personality, Nana Akua Addo, has been under intense criticism on TikTok for ‘broke-shaming’ social media influencer Quitachie, after a fan drew a comparison between them.
Nana Akua Addo recently posted a video of her newly purchased crystal dining hall table on her TikTok page, which drew attention by her followers.
Under the comment section, Ama Jane, commented saying, “Please don’t let Quitachie see this (laughing emoji)”. Nana Akua Addo, in reponse, said, “Even if she!!!! Should I send you the price? This is not plate ooo, it’s a crystal dining table.”
She added, “Been buying over 20k 10 years ago, I’m so embarrassed to show prices tag, don’t need to prove anything to you or your generation; if you know, you know. 10 years ago how old were you? Pls it’s a disrespect to compare me to your favourite!!!! Been at my game back to back over a decade and counting bills, just one of my dresses can buy a house, you are here talking plates!!!!”
Following her reply, many followers have descended on her for demeaning Quitachie.
BIG AND BEAUTIFUL wrote, “Come on, what makes you think she can’t buy it? Are you having issues with her? Because I don’t see anything wrong with what this person wrote for you to say this is not a plate. If you can buy it, why can’t she too?”
MEDUSA also wrote, “Lol, this was so unnecessary. We all know you and how established you are. Most of us are inspired by you and respect you a lot. That comment didn’t call for you to be derogatory. It’s even more disappointing because that’s a younger creative.”
H.B added,“Eiii is that how you are? Boi, I thought you respect yourself ooo? So what’s the difference between you and Jennifer Lopez? Lol.”
