The Chief Executive Officer of the National Film Authority (NFA), Ms. Juliet Yaa Asantewa, has commended the effort of the Film Crew Association of Ghana (FiCAG) for its commitment to supporting the veteran film actors in the country.
According to Ms. Asante, the National Film Authority has outlined some policies to establish and strengthen a pipeline of working relationships between the various film guilds/associations and issue accreditation is still actively ongoing.
“The NFA commends the commitment of the Film Crew Association of Ghana (FiCAG) to the course and dedication to the welfare of its member community. This is the right support for humanity and the creative industry in particular,” she said.
According to her, the NFA is very committed to its strategic plan to position Ghana as a film hub and an attractive shooting destination on the continent, adding that there is the need for a strong guild and association community in developing the structures of the industry, which is one of the key focus areas of the NFA this year.
