Nhyiaeso MP, Stephen Amoah Reports To Police Over Traffic Offense

Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso, Dr. Stephen Amoah, has has turned himself in to the police in Accra after failing to show up on Wednesday December 8, 2021.

He been arraigned before the La Magistrate Court on Thursday December 9, 2021 for alleged traffic offence.

According to a statement from the lawmaker, he presented himself to the Police on Thursday.

“The Police this morning, Thursday, December 9, 2021, put before the La Magistrate Court, Hon. Dr. Stephen Amoah when he presented himself to the Police after failing to appear in court yesterday, Wednesday, December 8, 2021, in which a warrant was issued for his arrest.

“Hon. Dr. Stephen Amoah, was on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, arrested together with six others for violating road traffic regulations around the Airport By-pass,” a police statement said.

Police said details regarding his prosecution will be made known by the Accra Regional Police Command.

The Police had earlier secure a bench warrant for his arrest.
